Security When We Need It Most

read an article from my local newspaper this morning concerning a women who had just parked her car in the space at the local Wal Mart.

A woman, who came out of  nowhere attacked the woman, beating her about the face for no apparent reason.

The victim, fending off the attack by turning her back  on the attacker and at the same time getting her cell phone out of her purse. Quite of feet.

As the unprovoked attack continued, store employees and well as people inn the parking lot assisted the woman and held the attacker until police arrived.

The woman (attacker) then attacked the store employees, and the police.

Handcuffed and arrested for a number of offenses, the woman stated that she was the victim of the first person she attacked, store employees and of course the police.

I guess the point of this is that when we talk of self defense weapons, such as stun guns, we think of dark allies and some big bad thug coming to get us.

Well, as this story demonstrates, the use of stun guns and pepper spray won’t be confined to the allies.

We are vulnerable just about any place that we might go. And we never know just what little old lady just might pop out of the woodwork to whack us over the head.

So, I guess if you decide to  lay out a couple of hundred bucks on something like a taser, people just might understand where you are coming from.

So, like I always, spend the money, it could be the best investment you ever made.
