Where to find antique tea cups

Some Chinese inscriptions are made on some porcelain to offer inspiration as well as advice or some sort of spirituality. Many women do not throw away their porcelain tea cups hoping that the new generation behind them will use such in their memory.   Aside the inspiration they offer, tea cups and saucers can also serve as gifts for special occasions such as wedding anniversaries,  child dedication and many others. The ancient Chinese cherish the use of cups and saucers with beautiful inscriptions as gifts to a newly wedded bride, the entire bridal showers often revolve around this custom and tradition and a bride that do not receive such gifts may not feel completed.  There are countless varieties of tea cups and saucers , as a matter of fact the Chinese are believed to have more than 1,000 varieties of such with each having its own name and characteristic features, the Chinese saucers also represent some traditional Chinese cultures while some are basically designed for home decorative purposes.   Tea cups and saucers can be easily maintained when stored in clean and dry enclosed places. You must occasionally clean them dry when not in use because they may become stained and break up after a while. Most people collect antique tea cups these days not because they are too beautiful but they offer some memorable inspirations in their lives and homes. Many do have some memorable times with their extended families and the best possible ways of doing such is to keep the cups and saucers they used during such memorable days.
